Consultation: Identify Interest/Goals
The first step to developing and implementing a successful program is to identify what the students’ performing arts concentration and focus is.
Starter Package
Steps:
- Session 1: Consultation
- Session 2: The mentor will then provide four colleges that meet their criteria of interest
- Session 3: Review & rework submitted performing arts resume
- Session 4: Review & discuss submitted headshots and dance shots and learn how to choose the right one
- Session 5: (if needed):
- Musical Theater - Discuss musical choices (standards; uptempo & lyrical legit songs)
- Dance - Evaluate & critique performance or choreographic reel
- National Unified Auditions: Why & where
Option: 2
The Complete Package:
Includes everything from the Consultation & Starter Package plus the following:
**Note that SBT-C does not produce any audition reels; that is the responsibility of the individual or their family.
- Consists of the college application preparation & essay review.
- Finalizing Application for Submission - Review and Check that all the application material is ready and that the student is emotionally prepared for the audition process. Provide support, encouragement and resolve any last minute issue(s) that may arise prior to hitting SEND.
